A pet can bring happiness to everyone around it. Studies have shown that their companionship can improve mood, health, activity, and reduce stress*. The Humane Society and Adoption Center or Rockport/Fulton believes that every pet should have a home, and offer affordable adoptions of our furry friends, complete with vaccines and more!
Before anyone is allowed to adopt, we require that you fill out a Pre-Adoption Application, in order to understand what you're looking for and what kind of pet would best suit you.

Adoption Hours
- Tueday and Thursday 10:00am - 2:00pm
- Friday and Saturday 10:00am - 4:00pm
- Sunday 1:00pm - 4:00pm
Adoption Fees
Cats - $60
Includes spay/neuter, feline leukemia test, and vaccines.
Dogs - $85
Includes spay/neuter ,heartworm check and treatment if necessary, wormer and vaccines.

Senior Dog Program
There are always a few senior dogs at the shelter at any given time, and we want to make sure they aren't forgotten! Special arrangements and assistance is offered for anyone adopting/or fostering one of these wonderful seniors. The adoption fee is waived for interested and qualified applicants, so take a look and Contact Us if you're interested!
